    Yard Sale Finds

Had a nice time out this morning checking out a few sales. Got a few neat items but nothing too great. Total for the complete haul was $5.25

Boxed 1970 Strombecker Race Track set with boxed Aurora 1965 rails.

2 1980 Super Pickles (just missed out on a Super Banana)

1987 Talking Pee Wee Herman and Chair (who knows what he's been doing in that chari)

    1982 Creature puzzle framed

19?? Electro-Phonic stereo with a big stack of 60's-70's singles. The lady said please take it and get it out of my way for $2 .

The race track set was $1. It's only missing 1 of the 2 cars.

Isn't it amazing how so many of these items were so common in the 70's that there was never any consideration to think one day they would never be around? I believe in many ways we, the collectors, are historians to the eras we grew up in. If society didn't have us, so much of this would be forgotten. Nice finds Tim!

I remember those Pee Wee talking dolls were already defective while they were still on the shelf in the store. Does yours talk well? Or is it all gibberish?
Man I never find stuff like that so cheap.

Chairy talks too, right? I can't remember. I just remember that the Freddy Krueger and Pee Wee were both out around the same time and both had the same talkbox problems.
