Nice. Yep, it's missing a spike that should be above the four "tubes". Along with the dome and inner teeth, it's a commonly missing piece on this figure. I'm sure someone makes repros of all those pieces but I'm afraid I have no info on who.

Had a really busy mini vacation last week where the wife and I visited every flea market, antique mall and vintage toy shop we could. It was expensive but my best finds came last Sunday when we hit the Antique market in Aberfoyle and I found these.

I was hoping to find a SHADO mobile for a good price but the diecast Yamato from Star Blazers was surprising to see a midst the ashtrays and vintage dishware.

I also snagged a piece on ebay I've been after for a whole.

Never thought I'd get this guy.

Pretty jealous of the Yamato, NGL.

Any pics out of the box?

Nice snag on the Creech, and great Yamato. I second the request for pics of the toy itself. I've never had much luck at Aberfoyle as far as toys go, and can't believe you found a vintage Japanese toy like that there, congrats!

I've had ok finds there, mostly catalogs that excite myself and three others. It's definitely more fun for the wife.

I think the reason I bought this was because I had the help of Ray Miller (via teh interwebs) and that it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen at Aberfoyle in 20 years.

Here it is loose, it's a really nice toy.

Wow. If you ever wanna sell it, keep me in mind!

I love that ship, and Harlock's too.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?

That Yamato is beautiful, even if it's missing missiles and Black Tigers. The toy looks great & the box art is equally beautiful.

It's gotta weigh a ton, too.

That is a great looking toy. How much diecast is involved, is it nice and heavy? (I love the heft of Japanese diecast toys)

Got some pretty neat stuff and spent less than $10. I am real happy with the Godzilla playset.
