    Anybody collect Smurfs?

I just picked up the recent set of 8 Halloween Smurfs. I just couldn't pass up the idea of a Witch Smurfette and Monster Smurfs. I also actually used to collect these a bit when I was little but I'm really out of the loop on them now.

From what I can tell, it looks like the more popular Smurfs have been in near constant production. Any good online resources out there for the modern and vintage Smurfs.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That's pretty cool. I haven't a clue what happened to mine.

I collect them a long time ago back in the early-early 80's.

Had a few when I was a kid.

Recently I saw the new wave of Smurfs based on characters specfically
from the TV show---that was REALLY cool---but apparently not cool
enough for me to lay out the $30 to $40 to snag the group of 'em.

I'm a big fan--- but not ready to take the plunge.

I'd love to have a group of 'em and a mushroom house
          and Gargamel's lab etc. etc.

Seeing pics of people's collections would be pretty cool.

I ordered a counter display of them, planning to give them out as little prizes at my Halloween party.

It was a great idea except for the fact that they didnt arrive until Nov. 3rd.

That being said. I have two extra sets of 8 Halloween smurfs.

If anyone wants a set of 8, I'll do $25.00 PayPal per set shipped USA only.

My mom managed a Hallmark store in the 80s, so I had about every Smurf going at that time, and several of the houses and plushes. I found the Smurf figurines in my Dad's basement a few years ago, but the houses were gone. No idea what happened to them.

What stores even carry Smurfs? The only places I've found is Toys r Us and Target. But they only sell them online and their selections are really limited.
