Cool, and they do seem to collect dust easily and the rough skin makes it fun to clean.

    Here's mine:

I can't believe I've owned this guy (Mazinga too) for about 30 years. God I feel old!

I didn't find out until years later that there were two different versions. Yours looks like mine, darker green plastic with unweighted feet. There is another version that's a little bit brighter green and has weighted feet (presumably to keep him from falling over? I never had a problem with mine in this regard)

Use an old toothbrush on 'em.

That's the one I had. The weights looked like toothpaste tubes filled with sand and fit into a little bracket on the inside of the sole of the feet.

I've heard the Japanese version looked more like Godzilla; but I've never seen a pic of it.

The Japanese Godzilla is featured in this video, I can't remember where but it's during an interview with Bob Monko.

Also, here's some info and pics (including the box) of the Popy version here:

The coolest things about him are his back fins, and the fact that he roars (although I wouldn't be surprised to find out that most don't work too well these days)

Wow. It doesn't look ANYTHING like the Shogun one.... AND the Japanese one shoots off it's hand.

              What's the deal with that?
