Toys that scared you as a kid (Or still do!)

Did any toys scare you as a kid (or still do)?

This little bugger scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid. (literally the first time I saw him!)

I recently picked him up at Goodwill and have been unsuccessful at repairing him. Several of the gears and axles wont stay in place to engage the motor.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

Hugo "man of a thousand faces". He still creeps me out, just a little.

Suckerman kind of freaked me out

Mego Ponch, my cousin had him and had colored on his face or somthing??

those big dolls that are like 3 feet tall, eyes that open and close, funky rubberish looking heads with the blow molded bodies, you know the ones that you swear moved on it's own lol ... yes they still freak me out.

I wasn't a kid and they didn't really scare me so much as they just looked eerily realistic to the point that you had to look twice to make sure they weren't real.

For some reason, which to this day I still don't quite understand, it used to freak me out and make me cry when my cousin Cindy would take her Ken doll and pop the head off of it. Man I used to hate that! And I don't really understand why

The first time I saw the Mego Mad Monsters, they were sitting on a shelf that belonged to the older brother of my best friend, when I was about 4 years old. His room was dark with black-lights and posters and so forth, and those figures looked so creepy on that shelf, they kinda gave me chills. As I got a lil' older I started to really love those figures though (and still do!!)

Ventriloquist dummies always kinda scared me too. They just sit there and look at ya.....

Slime.... Not that it scared me but it grosses me out. Being a nurse at one time and seeing goobs of the real stuff I still hate it. Ive banned my kids from ever getting it.

Also Silly putty. There was this one stupid movie Amazon women from the moon I think. It was filled with shorts. One was a fake commercial with the family eatting a Sillyputty (Cheese)log. Utterly grossed me out. Havent been able to tolerate the stuff since.

Hugo was high on the creep o meter

Ant farms..... Always had to check to make sure the little critters didnt escape and come after me for revenge.

Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

I knew Hugo would be mentioned more than once, he just has to be in a thread about creepy looking toys. We used to terrorize my younger cousin with him (the moment he would step into our house, my sister and I would immediately say "Hugo's here, he's been waiting for you"). All these years later, he still remembers Hugo and is creeped out by him.

The cover art to all of the different Sea Monkey boxes. The whole concept of a thriving civilization swimming in a jar. I think I was probably afraid that they would rebel and come get us!

Any doll that closes their eyes when they are lying down. I would be terrified that their eyes would flutter open while they were still lying down. I refuse to have any in the house now. I don't really like dolls. They always creep me out.

That's what I was going to say...but I still wanted one

Someone, in their infinite wisdom, gave me a baby doll when I was little. Of course, it stayed out of sight at the top shelf at the back of my closet.

Not long after my baby sister died, I had a terrible nightmare that the doll had sharp gnashing teeth and a mouldy head, and it chased me trying to kill me...I still remember it so clearly.

When I woke, I looked at the doll and sure enough, the head had bright green mould all over the inside (nothing else in the closet was mouldy). It freaked me out a lot and went out in the trash that day.
