    >no metal parts ... it was about 5 inches tall and all parts were plastic

    Was it green and purple?

Were there bits of red? If so it could be the second Voltron, or the Dyna-robo....

By chance do you have any pics of the weapons that you found so far? I can pull a research on any toy weapon ever made. I can see what I can do,but need pics.

I know he wasn't any of the Voltron bots. he really looked like an early Gundam bot. but less detail

sadly I do not have any parts left of him ... I would find a bit hear and a part there and when I did ... I tossed them out like a darn fool lol ... I haven't come across any parts of him for over 10 years

I have been looking through old photos trying to find something ... but nothing so far.

Hi, new kid here, first post. As vague as it is, this sounds very familiar. Take a look at Xabungle. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of it. Hobby Link Japan has some model kits and toys from the series. You might be able to see if it's the same character. I had an Xabungle toy that sounds like this in the early to mid 80's. It was primarily blue and white, and sort of looked like a Transformer. It didn't exactly transform as much as it just pieced together in a different way to go from robot mode to futuristic car/vehicle. It had very little articulation and seemed rather cheap, but like all good robots it saw a lot of action with the rest of my toys!
