Plastic huh ... mine was metal really I think that was the only 80's GI Joe one that was metal ... I know most boxes were plastic a short time after
I remember noticing when I got my metal Super Powers lunch box in 84 that most of the other boxes were now a generic plastic design with a sticker slapped on them. A few years later, that was ALL you could find.

I wonder how much it would cost to have a printer make a custom lunch box? (probably way too much) A WGSH or MM one would be cool for the next meet.
                    It's all good!

I can't even recall all the lunchboxes I had I do remember having the Empire Strikes Back metal lunchbox, and I think I may have had the Clash Of The Titans one as well.

The two that I coveted the most, and never got, was the KISS lunchbox (which I did get later as a collector), and the Marvel Super Heroes one from the mid-Seventies.

I am going to date myself here, but the lunchbox that I carried to school was a Fireball XL-5 lunchbox. The thermos is long gone, but I still have the lunchbox in pretty good shape. My mother used it to store her watercolors for many years and when she realized that I was collecting pop culture goodies of all sorts, she insisted that I take it back and add it to my collection. Mom's don't always throw out those precious childhood goodies . . .
