Mego would need Hasbro's ok to do that. Hasbro controls the IP. And Hasbro has good working relationship with Takara Tomy. So anything Mego did would have to go through both Hasbro, AND Takara Tomy, and would have the additional hurdle of not infringing on Super 7s license. It could be done, but Marty would have to go through the proper channels.

I'm pretty discouraged with the lack of interest/product from Hasbro in the Micronaut realm.
Also, the character designs they had for that "Micronauts" cartoon that they shelved from a few years ago were pretty awful, anyway (although, those designs are pretty much what we got in those mini figures... Ugh.)... I'm kind of glad they didn't release it.
The original Micronauts designs were amazing, just update them slightly.
