After his arrest for the cold blooded murder of Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine, Mr. Nimoy was quoted as saying "The Doctor made me do it!", apparently referring to the "ghost" of the late DeForest Kelley.

In a statement by Mr. Nimoys close friend and old co-star, William Shatner said "This is the kind of thing that happens on Star Trek movie sets when I'm not around! If I was in the film, this just simply would never have happened!".
