It's not a Doctor Mego head. I can tell that too. The paint of his, though different from the NPP release is consistent. That was done by a customizer. But with what you say about no mask residue and the airbrushed look, apparently a good one. I'm sure there are some chemicals which can remove paint. Removezit is one. But how could someone remove the mask and not the eyes that way, they would have to be a professional artist or have the makings of one. That could possibly require masking and/or airbrush usage. But the eyes are definitely not consistent with an original.

It's a pretty good fake any way you look at it.

That's just a normal T2 Robin head that has had the mask paint stripped off. The eyes have either been repainted or just touched up after the stripping.

If someone has confirmed versions of the varieties,
perhaps we could update the comparison chart with the full heads -
          neck plugs and all?

Thats a T2 with the mask removed. Nail polish remover and a tooth pick and a little time.
I know because I've done it. Looks like one of the ones I did years ago. I sold all my parts a few years ago so it could be.

I also know a friend that does the mask removal. You cannot really tell. I do have a real Grayson figure.

I can say that it is real hard to tell, but the pupils do sit in the exact location described. You never know, it may be a fluke.

I think it's the eye brows that give it away. the edges aren't as clean as the real deal.
