    Quick Help

Removing a knee pin is no problem. Getting it back it, is driving me insane. I am mutilating it trying to get it in place for a 12" figure. Any suggestions?

Are you using a Doc Mego 12" knee pin? If so, I'm afraid they really don't work, you'll never get it in properly.

        I got it. Thanks though.

Paul Stanley is now fully restored. Now I just need a pin and cap for Gene.

Congrats, nice stuff. My Ace has been wobbling on two broken knees for 20 years now! I always meant to fix them, but figured removing the boots and outfit would be too much of a PITA (especially those damn boots). How was your experience?

The DM 12" knee pins work okay for skinny bodies is what I have heard as that was what they were based on. The muscle body is slightly thicker. I don't do the larger scale figures but I have heard success stories of sanding down the flat area where the two leg pieces connect but this is a sensitive area and can really affect the mobility of the knee joint.

Unless they've been redesigned since the ones I got a few years ago, maybe. The ones I got did not work in the non-muscle bodies either. It was a very frustrating experience.

I paid $85 for the $3 of them, then I bought another Paul with a broken for around $23 for the outfit (mine was shot). Sadly the one on him now smells like mold! :(

I ruined the first outfit I had. Oxyclean totally ate the foil. The foil on the other ones isn't great either.
