For me, seeing is believing. I need to see it, or hear about it first hand from somone involved in it's production to believe it. Otherwise I tend to dismiss these things as tall tales.

There was a custom Harry Mudd figure (maybe more than one) on a Star Trek Alien card (which I thought was funny because Harry is an Earthling) making the rounds at Star Trek Conventions in the 1980's (when I went to them and I saw it more than once).

unfortunately,from what I have been able to gather over the years, no Harry Mudd prototype was ever produced by Mego (nor chekov or sulu or rand or chapel, etc)... they were rumored to have been on the drawing board, but never got off "paper", so to speak

Yeah, I think Intergalactic trading company had some, they were crude and kit bashed but mind blowing in the 80s. When I last visited their store (around 2000) they were still there!
