I got a nice MOC Ralph last Christmas from my wife. Need Richie, Potsy, the motorcycle and garage. It's a fun and relatively inexpensive set to acquire.
Only Fonzie was sold widely in Canada, so as a kid I was unaware of the other characters.
Yeah, I got Fonzie for Christmas when I was about 8 years old, but I never saw the others. But one day I saw the Happy Days garage playset in a store, and the box pictured the other figures in the line. I was surprised about that, I had no idea they existed. I remember looking for them in stores, not that I would have bought them, I was just curious if they were actually made or not. I never found them though, didn't see them in person until I was an adult.
I like your Florida story. That reminds me that when ever we went on a trip to the US when I was a kid, I was all excited because I just knew I would end up finding some toys that I never saw in Canada. It was a thrilling adventure, the part of the trips that I liked the most was shopping for toys in "exotic" stores I never went to before.
