On the other hand, Bizarro and Two-Face have a more modern look, as dictated by the style guide. I just wish Mego were including characters that FTC has not yet done.

Yeah, me too on everything you said. Dr. Fate is great, but there are so many other JSAers to choose from. Deadman is an odd choice here. And I would have loved to see a 70s Black Lightning too.

That said, I look forward to see Megos interpretation of the characters. Brainiac is the one I look most forward too and I hope it's a classic version.

Besides DC Comics, I will probably get an Oompa Loompa or two and the Star Trek Aliens

Agreed - Firestorm and Red Tornado, the FTC versions, have become super hard to find. So glad to have the Megos. Dr. Fate & Brianiac, too. With these plus TOS Trek, should be a cool wave!

I am not absolute but from my memory, we pay at the time of ordering.

FOMO caused me to order Dr Fate, Deadman, Firestorm and the Red Tornado.

yes you pay for these items when you pre order at ZLC so if they sell out like Green Arrow, you still get yours

I like the assortment, especially since it has some personal favorites. We already pretty well know Nightwing isn't the disco version, so he's not going to be Bronze Age. As for the others being classic versions, I'm thinking some of that depends on DC (I still think some of the more modern elements we're seeing in 50th line feels like DC's insistence), but even so, the ones we've seen have skewed classic. at least. Bizarro right now looks to have the modern color scheme, but it is still the same suit as the 50th Supes and the head does have some very Superfriends aspects. And Two-Face has the classic green skin, not the more modern purple; the head is definitely based on a 70's Harvey. And even with Zoom, the eyes and the chest symbol were more modern, but the suit and boots were still pure Bronze Age. I'm hoping for as 70's as they can get, but we'll see what they might be allowed to do.

Yes, but if you pay with Shop Pay, you can split it into four bi-weekly payments with no interest. I usually do that when I buy figures there.

A disco suit Nightwing would be kind of cool, but I think the FTC was well done. But there more modern variant Nightwing, while it has a nice enough costume, they reused the Disco version head, so I kind would like to see Mego be a tad more modern just for a proper head for that costume. If they a Knightfall Nightwing? Whew! Has anyone made a Knightfall costume Nightwing besides DC Direct?

EDIT: I forgot that McFarlane is making the Knightfall Nightwing costume.

REALLY disappointed TEEN TITANS are not part of the 50th Anniversary line (The focus of that line should be re-releases of the original 70s line)

Also, where are the Super Gals?

Just FYI. I do NOT recommend using anything outside of a credit card. If some don't know/remember, when Dorkside Toys, a reputable merchant, was liguidating, a lot of customers lost $$$, and was not able to get their finances back because PayPal or some other choice of payment, were the choice of payment. I used a credit card and via dispute, got my $$$ returned. This infor / discussion was on the fwoosh forum.

No one is privileged to the internal security and well being of a business except the owner. It is best to use a form of payment where the buyer is able recover money for merchandise not delivered.

Agreed. Super Gals (including Isis), Teen Titans, Secret Identity, and Mxyzptlk before any other new characters, maybe with the exception of "new" classic characters such as Two Face and Bizarro because they're both major villains for three of the original four WGSH (although it's weird that Flash got a Rouges Gallery villain before Aquaman did). I understand that the Marvel characters are untouchable now because of the astronomical licensing fees, but there's still plenty of other vintage figures they should be re-releasing first.

I disagree that vintage characters should get priority over never made characters.

I wanna see some new faces on my shelves. Tired of looking at the same 50 year old sculpts. They have the license, let's get some use out of it!
