Last week there was a thread started about the least favorite figure in your your favorite line. I was wondering, what's the best figure from your favorite line, or any line for that matter. Or even better, what was the best figure from all the lines in your opinion? I'll start:
WGSH
DC-The Joker. Nice and simple, even with the silk screen suit(the less layers the better). Could have had better fitting shoes, though. Purple hands would have been cool too.
Marvel-The Falcon. If he had white gloves, it would have been perfect. Closest to the artwork on the packaging(next to the Joker).
Star Trek
The Romulan.Obviously, I'm not going out on a limb here. Just an awesome figure, and I always thought the head would make a good Sarak.
POTA
Dr. Zaius. Best head sculpt out of all of them,I think. My only complaint was his jacket was too short.
Knights
The Black Knight. Though he should have had black pirate boots.
Pirates
Captain Patch. Even without the pegleg or parrot, he looked the most like a pirate.
American West
Davey Crockett. It was a bit of an odd choice for Mego, since he wasn't really a cowboy, or an indian.
Mad Monsters
Frankenstein. But he might have looked cooler if he was green, and didn't have eyebrows.
Robin Hood
Friar Tuck. I know that's sounds weird, but he looked the most like the charactor, and he had the wine.
Starsky and Hutch
Starsky. With a Fonzie jacket, he looked cool. Also,he drove the car.
The Waltons
John boy. I never had any of them, but if I had to pick, I would go with him. At least you could reuse the head.
Happy Days
The Fonz, of course. The others really didn't look like the charactors.
WOZ
The Scarecrow. Mego really captured Ray Bolger's likeness.
I left out Chips and The Dukes of Hazzard, because of the number of figures in the line(3) and the Chips figures were all the same except for the heads. I also omitted the foreign lines, since it wasn't available to us in the states.
So what do you guys(and gals) think?
