Mego 12" wonder woman restoration

there are some small variations in the line, like the eyes. Mine is a 1st year painted top. You can see her suit under the blue if you look carefully. I did that on purpose! I'll have the Wonder Woman section done soon so you can see the Wonder Wardore fashions that I have and all my dolls, which I have a bunch of.

I have always wondered...if this Cher you used for Wonder Woman...if she would look great as a Nova from POTA if I repainted her makeup off and made her more "natural" looking...

Yes, i noticed the peek-a-boo effect, very cute I cant wait to see all your lovely girls in all their glory.

I know!! (hits head repeatedly on desk) arrgghh!!! I must have taken about 30 shots and its always some little thing, like a hair on the face or, the head is the wrong angle, or a shadow, etc etc. All i can say is, thank God for digital cameras, else id have a bunch of really crappy shots, and a really cranky husband (paying for processing)
Saying that tho, the close up IS overexposed (sigh)

She actually is a Bona Fide WW, but because i left her hair long she looks Cher-ish. How would you go about remaking her? Id love to try a repaint/custom, but im too scared id stuff it up lol. I have a spare WW im waiting to reroot, you are quite welcome to have her. If you want me to do the hair a certain colour, other than black , let me know

Batgirl, I'm waiting for about a week to see if a 12" Cher will sell on Ebay. (Ooops! I didn't realize that you used an actual WW...I thought she was Cher.) I told the seller to contact me if she doesn't sell. Because you did such a swell job, I wanted to try my hand at re-rooting. I have only painted one human (Taylor) but I'm thinking it shouldn't be that diffiult to paint up a woman's face. The bone structure of your WW look similar to Linda Harrison, and if you just remove the makeup and repaint the eyebrows, I think she might look like Nova.

I also wanted to try to reroot a Daisy Duke I had...but I think the face is overwhelmingly large.. I am still looking for a Mego-sized female head that would work for a Nova.

On her original body, Daisy's head does look pretty big. But it looks a little better if you put it on a regular Supergals body. Someone had posted a pic around here somewhere, but I don't know where. It might have even been on the old forums.

not to mention daisy is smaller linda carter head. I'm surprised no one ever did an 8" Lynda Carter doll using the Daisy head. It would be perfect and I might just give it a try one day.
