Yes but they don't always have the best prices I've found.Sometimes the addmission cost is enough to keep me away. But its always great seeing such a gathering of toys.

I think I go more for that than anything, also running into folks is cool.

Whenever I can, but true toys shows are a thing of the past in Los Angeles.

Now, you find the toys mixed in with antique shows, flea markets, or comic shows that cater heavily to new toys and porn.

I would, but I'm really not aware of pure toy shows. I'm sure they have them in the NYC area, I just don't know about them. Generally, I go to comic shows to be put off by the high prices on vintage toys.

A toy show is a rare thing in my area, but I do travel to some of the bigger Comic/Genre shows.

Allthough we have toy fairs in the UK the actual fair itself tends to be a mixture of all sorts of collectibles.

I don't think they can afford to stage a fair for just one thing so it is called a toy fair but contains dealers for any sort of collectible you care to think of.

I attend many of these during the year and allways find it intresting to meet other collectors and take an intrest in what they collect and why they do so.

I said any chance I get, and that used to be true, but I've been cutting back. I used to attend the San Jose Humdinger show (which is a PAIN to get to b/c I don't have a car!), but since they went belly up, and another one has taken its place, they don't use the big exhibit hall anymore, except in December, so it's really not worth it to me to go all teh way out there. Plus, my toyroom is pretty full, but pleasant looking, and I don't want it to get all junked up and overstuffed.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

Ha! Last FX my son had $80 to spend thanks to combined money from me, his grandmother and great grandmother. I ended up lugging around a boxed Tower of Doom, Supermobile and several JLU 3 packs. That boy has an eye for good deals.

Me? I got a carded Metal Man and a $4 hotdog....
