Heck Yeah!!! But, I did learn from childhood--I keep one set for 'the collection' and another set for play, 'cause no matter how careful I try to be, I always wind up breaking, or getting paint rubs on something.
As a kid I recall strapping as many bottle rockets as I could onto an model kit X-wing to see if it would really fly. Big Jim used to karate chop the baddies (and sometimes the buddies) off of the railing on the front porch. We had a rope swing that we would run down from the second floor of my cousins house for the flyers and the spiders and the repelling forces. Would I do that kind of stuff anymore? Well,.. yeah - especially if I could get some good footage I would. Would I do it every day. No. It is a once in a lifetime event to recreate the destruction of the Enterprise with a burning bridge and all that smoldering plastic leaves scars on your lungs.
