Do you still play with your Megos?

Just pondering if you guys (or girls) still play with them when the ol' ball an' chain aint' watching i mean comon admit, even i kinda-sorta, play with my megos a once in awhile, my b/f (no i'm not a chick) cought me once and just stared for a moment and just walked backwards... my god ---wonder what he thinks of sometimes. he knows i collect but he never really sees me play with them. eh...after i explain why i...'play' with them, he just calls me silly. eh

back to the question! do you play with your megos still? yes? no? maybe so?

Yes, I most certainly do. It gives me a nice feeling again, like when I was young. I also play with them with my nieces and nephews. And my g/f loves them too (and no, I'm not a boy ).

      Hmmmm....

There is the Floor War.... I pick a set of RPG rules, roll up stats for a bunch of figures and have 'em fight it out around the house. (1 foot in real world scale equals 10 feet Mego scale.)

Why ELSE would I build Supercity?

      And all them orcs.

I move my displays around now and again, and I make a custom now and again. That's as close to playing with my Megos as I get. Used to get down on the floor and play with them with my son (he has his own), but these days he's more into Xbox and Legos.

I play with them in front of her (and she just shakes her head) but to be honest i made no attempt to phide my toys before we started dating so she knew how odd I was. Now that I have little ones again I have a built in excuse to play. I just have to be careful not to leave out ones that I realyl care about. Reissues/repro are great to let the kids play with while daddy has his vintage ones

Ive played with mine a few times. My wife likes to re arrange the displays and put them in silly poses as well.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

I've been playing a little with Cpt. Eagle this morning. Hardly ever play with the Megos, as I love to just look at 'em, but my daughter, son, and I play with our 9-inch figures a lot.

Yep. Why else would I be planning to build Super City?

My Mego Hulk just trashed the stack of bills I had to pay.

Like Dave, displaying Megos has become my version of playing witrh them. I no longer create little scenarios, but I really like rearranging them on my shelves.

My daughter says "Daddy, let's play megos!" so I can't refuse. She has 12 or so of them now. There is hope for the future.
