I am as old as the hills...43. I had a few Megos when I was a kid (my favourite toys) and I have been to Portland and loved it. Cat

      41. First Mego was aquaman, bought at Murphy's 5 and dime. Second Mego was Batman ordered from Wards Catalog

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

I'm 44. I had about 15 Megos as a kid (12 WGSH and 3 POTA) plus the Batmobile. That was all.

44 next month... I'm one of the original WGSH/AJ lovers!

Had Aquaman first, then an AJ w/plastic rivets (later made him into a "custom" Flash with a hand-sewn suit I made out of some pink doubleknit material--closest color I could get to red).

My Megos were all boxed, all T-1s.

I am 39. My first Megos were RC Batman and RM Robin, back in 1974, at the age of six.

I'm 41. I remember (fondly) begging my mother for POTA figures and then a few yrs later begging for Star Wars figures ("No mom....I don't want the Jawa...he's too small"). I have since given up on collecting SW but will always collect Megos!!!!

40 here... Seems to be a common age. :lol

I only had Batman, Robin, Captain America, and Hulk from the WGSH. I had a bunch of POTA figures, Ursus, Zaius, three different soldier apes, Peter, Alan, and the tree house and that was the extent of my 8" MEGO's. I also had a bunch of the Micronauts as well.

Both of my neighbors were spoiled rotten and had a bunch of Megos and we always played with them and joined our forces together.

                  I miss those simpler times.

37 as of today. I don't play with them these days as I prefer to have them displayed. Last year a friend and I did have one old scholl play session.
That resulted in damage to my custom supergirl (no biggie as it just gave me an excuse to get the real thing) and the realization that it's not like I can replace some of these cheaply or easily. I still have my childhood Spidey (itself kepy whole through "donations from other childhood Megos) at the time which is my most treasured tresured Mego. I only had four heroes during childhood (Batman, Superman, Spidey & Hulk) and a bunch of Trek as well as Dukes. My cousin had ChiPs. It's been fun getting the figures I onky saw briefly or even only saw in ads. My biggest "kid' moment has probably been getting a loose Green Goblin. As a huge Spider-Man fan I wanted one these my entire life and but he long gone from stores explaining why my paretns could never find one. When I got one from amember here sometime back and it arrived in the the mail myh reaction was "Finally!" with an ear to ear grin.
A close second would Captain America. A childhood friend had one and I was always wanted it. When I jumped back into Mego collecting he was my first addition.

                      OK...guess what age...40!

I had AJ with beard and RM Batman & Robin, Supes, and Aquaman. Had the Batcave and Batmobile. Had all of the Star Trek crew and the Klingon and Enterprise. Some of the CAH stuff, too. Most of it disappeared to never be seen again.
                      It's all good!

I'm 25. I had a few second-hand, broke-down Mego's WGSH when I was little. It was a poor showing, but now my collection looks much nicer.

I'm 40, it seems like the magic number. I had all the Apes, a few Treks and a lot of the WGSH growing up. Now I am trying to 'round them all up again.

41, Solid-box Superman here. Bought from a toy store at the Monroeville mall in 72. I remember the box because my Dad asked me which one I wanted and I could only go by the picture (wondering what was inside). I also remember ripping into the box when we got to the car. My brother asked for a batman that same time and he got the RCB in the solid box. I remember being jealous of his having a cowl from the ride home from Pittsburgh. That cowl made my Superman look just like Batman. I still remember the feeling of it all every time I think about it. Which makes me a Mego collector. But RCB and Supes are still my most favs. (but the early versions of each with skinny boots and such). I had other megos as I kid but those were never replaced once broken and pitched. The cowl survived. It was a thrill in 1995 to go to the post office to get my first of a collection of minty Removable Cowl Batmans. Been obsessed over them ever since.

I am 44 and just became a single dad. My daughter age 5 and I are both are Star Trek fans. My first figure was Kirk and his crew. I just gave my daughter her first set of Star Trek figures for her birthday (March 8th), she loves them. We spend hours making up alien adventures. I have to admit, she keeps me young at heart.

45 and feel like 70, lol.

I indeed had tons of Megos and Lili Ledys (I lived in Mexico ages 7-14). I was already about 12-years-old way back in 1975.

Although my favorite action-figure in the 70s was the Six Million Dollar Man.

But yeah, I became an instant fan when my dad bought me my very first Kirk and Spock (which I still have), and I was instantly hooked.

I didn't really seriously "collect" them until about 7 years ago though.

Man, I miss the 70s, my all-time favorite decade.
