Well I know I am still new to the site but I am really interested in how old the poeple here are. I wanted to see if you played with them or is it just a collection. I am 37 and I had all the Trek Mego stuff and lot of the Ape stuff. I had one Spiderman. I think my dad was into those two shows so he bought me the toys for it. I loved them and have many fond memories palying with them. I have one form my childhood and it a T2 Kirk. I have caught the bug and I am on the hunt for all the stuff I had as a child and then who knows. I saw a few customs and now want Chekov and Sulu and the Gorn made from Hulk. I love that I found this place and look forward to meeting you guys at the Meet. I am from the Northwest Portland Or area. I live in Vancouver just over the River. Cant wait to hear from you guys.

32...."Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"
In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

Max target age of mego kid = 14 (pre high school)
Early megos 1971
today 2008
-1971+14=51
min age of meg kids 3
latest megos on shelves 1984
2008-1984+3=27
I am guessingv 98% of the members here fall in this range (the others were probably corrupted by their parent - you know who you are)
And the
Median age = 39

I'm 41, and I had Action Jackson and Dancing Lainie as a kid. I knew a lot of guys who had some SuperHeroes though. And I had all the Mego ads I saw during after school cartoons memorized."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

I only had 7 of them when I was somewhere's between 4to5 when I 1st got them. Batman, Robin, Superman, Joker, Penguin, Hulk, Spider-man. The common easy ones.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
