Did you walk the quarter mile in costume or did you do a quick change at the show?
just curious, if you walked the quarter mile in costum, then darn proud of you, whether you
got some weird looks or not, if you did a quick change at the show, I wouldn't have blamed you either.

Glad you had a great time.

Sadly, I did not walk in costume. I had a jack and pants over the costume partly because it was cool, partly because the neighbor hood between my church and playground is a neighborhood the real Iron Fist would patrol.

Great show! I got to chat with Brue, Steve (EMCE Hammer), Rob (Godzilla) and Dan (Durgos), so it was kind of a mini-Mego Meet.

To say we don't get great shows like this in our neck of the woods is an understatement. My hungry toy addict came to the fore, and I bought some nice stuff, including a Mego Pocket Super Heroes Captain America, Mego 8" Shazam/Captain Marvel from Steve, an Ideal Justice League Joker figure, Marx Phantom of the Opera and Spider-Man figures, and Rob's childhood Super Heroes Fiddlesticks set, that both he and his kids played with. This well loved toy has come into another Megohead family, and I'm sure Dani will have lots of fun with us building and playing with it.

I picked up the Moebius Spider-Man and Green Goblin kits for me and the boy to build as well, so lots of fun projects in store. My lovely wife bargained on a very nice Remco mini-monster playset/case and bought if for me. I've been after one of these for years!

Again, a GREAT show, and the Franklin family will return to another soon! Thanks to all the Megoheads for the fun conversations to boot!

Ach, I regret not attending--but we had an early birthday party which was fun.

Sounds as if it was a great show; I would have enjoyed meeting/re-meeting MMembers.

Brue, if I recall correctly, IF is one of your best costumes.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I had a good time. I didn't get much, but the one thing that caught my attention was a box of vintage Valentines. The seller said that a woman had a portion of her collection on display/loan at a local library, and she decided to sell them when the exhibit was over. I wound up with 8 vintage Valentines for $38...which is roughly what new Valentines would cost. Hope the wife likes them, 'cause she's not getting another new store-bought Valentine 'till at least 2024.

It was a really good show. Great seeing so many Museum members and Chis, you were my favorite sale weekend. I hope you guys have fun with it.

I picked up a couple Daleks from the new figure series, a Gypsy statue from MST3K, and a 12 inch figure of the Hideous Sun Demon. Schlock horror movie merchandise is always my undoing.

Some pics of Dani and I playing with Rob's old Super Heroes Fiddlesticks set. We made a vehicle/contraption for each hero!

Some other shots from the show:

This guy made a cool Thundercracker, even though the show runners called him Starscream over the intercom.

                Andrew captured by some Mandalorians

                COBRA!!!

Very cool! I loved the the figures give you Clark Kent on one side and Superman on the other.

^Yeah, that's really neat, although Dani wondered why they didn't give you Bruce Banner on the back of the Hulk. She made Hulk a Gamma-Ray chamber to cure him. :-)
