    Boy-Toy Man!

Great newsletter, per the usual. That Batman Zoom Cycle is tempting!

Comic Book Fever is going to the top of my "Books for Birthday and Christmas List". And with a librarian for a wife, I know my chances are good!

Great newsletter as always. I like the new Retro cards, and the slim body looks so useful. Lots of nice FB customs, too.

Tx a lot for posting the Toyman pic. It's really great to see the new body design. I really like the sculpt! I'm happy it was mentioned in today's newsletter, or I may have missed it. -Mike

That settles it. It's good as bought...if not gifted.

That Toyman body is fascinating. It appears to be a bit shorter than a regular 8" body. Is that the case? I hope they offer the body on the website. I'm curious to see what it's like in hand.

Do you want the truth? It's no better than the others...the legs always stay together because of the bands (see pic above) and he flops forward alot

I didn't expect it to be better quality. I mean, I cobbled together a way to make the Mattel figures stand up straight, I should be able to do the same with this. But I appreciate the honesty.

I was more interested in it's height and whether it would be good for some custom ideas I've had for years.

A 3 dollar bag of O Rings from Lowe's fixes that and the bodies work fine. Way cheaper than an S-Type. The rubber pieces they use are way too tight, I cut them out of there and replace with the o ring, problem solved.

What size O rings? I'm trying to restring the legs of a dinah mite doll. The original elastic rotted and I had to cut it. I'm thinking of using jump rings with an O ring to maintain the right degree of flexibility.

Who did you kiss on the cheek? I always think of Family Feud and Richard Dawson when I hear those names.
