Brian, enjoy your time off with your family. Plaid Stallions has brought a lot of joy to so many of us. Happy Christmas. -
Thank you, MEGO Museum! It was an honor to have my fledgling channel and latest video mentioned! We have produced 2 Mego-themed videos on the channel so far, with many more planned (hopefully 2 of them in the near future). Truly appreciate the support!Leave a comment:

Appreciate you sharing that with me, it's unreal how this affects you. I am looking forward to some much needed rest.Wonderful newsletter and I completely understand family situation, I’m going thru that with my Mom 89 (Alzheimer’s) wheelchair bound. Mom bought me my first ever mego figures and got me into Star Trek, watching reruns with her back in the 70’s. Thanks for the weekly newsletters and relax and enjoy your time off.

I got these two John Wayne customs back in 2009. The head sculpts came from Dave McCormick who I also think painted them.
At the time, I also wanted to make an army Wayne from the movie (Sands of Iwo Jima) but never got around to it, so I put together Cowboy Wayne and casual Wayne.
I have almost every movie he made, plus tv show special appearances, I’m only missing two of his movies, which were damaged because of chemicals which I guess ruined the film and the movies are now considered lost films, I believe the UCLA film archives has stills from those movies. (Adventures End) and (The Oregon Trail) both made in the 1930’s.Attached FilesLeave a comment:

Damn, even though I do not like John Wayne, I would have bought plenty of them for the western outfit.Leave a comment:

I'd trade a lot of Mego releases for Virgil from Planet of the Apes but to each their own.Leave a comment:

Over the past several weeks, we have seen so many cool "what might have been" possibilities. The sculpts have all been fantastic. So I'm torn on this question... Would I rather have the figures Mego produced, or the figures Mego cancelled?
