This Captain Canuck super fan is super pumped to have seen the figure in person today (that's my bulbous head in the background between Brian and Sam).

A whole hearted thank you to Brian and Sam for making this happen!!

Ya KNOW the custom variants will be forthcoming once I get my paws on a few this Saturday.

But I do have to ask Brian, where is the Woolco card!?!

Awesome figure! Will there be an orange card variant at all? Thanks for making this happen, fellas!
No exclusives and no chase figures, please - I'm Canadian!

You'll have to speak to the variants department on that, you sat next to him all day yesterday.

Weirdly enough, I was ADAMANT about Orange for the card because of the first issue. The people at Captain Canuck Inc had blue in mind and well, it never fails to catch my eye, so I think they were totally right.

Nah, the blue card looks great... but to me, the orange was pure perfection.

Hugely embarrassed by this folks... flattering that Captain Canuck Inc chose to give me a shout out in the press release, but Brian Heiler, Paul Clarke, Andy Covalt, Brian Leitner, Paul Wasson and others I'm likely forgetting also deserve their share of the credit for their important roles in the development of this figure.

I got home tonight to find mine waiting on my doorstep! They look awesome! Kudos to everyone involved. His white and red outfit really pops on the shelf!

Wow, that is sad to see no stores from BC in on the launch. That is a bummer.

The good news is, that the Captain is at least available to anyone across Canada (And the US!) online at the Odeon Toys store! (don't forget, FREE SHIPPING within Canada, this week only)

You know we would dig some Captain Canuck action figure love on the left coast as much as you... if you know of any comic stores that want to invest in large quantities of the figures, have them contact Big B Comics to order them! (That goes for any Canadian city that feels under-represented!)

current OFFICIAL CAPTAIN CANUCK CLUB MEMBER STORES:

The figures are being introduced Saturday January 24, 2015 in comic book stores across Canada. These are all designated ‘Official Captain Canuck Club Member’ stores and many of them are celebrating with in-store artist signings. Hamilton’s Big B Comics plays host to Captain Canuck Creator Richard Comely while Kalman Andrasofszky, writer and artist for the upcoming Captain Canuck Monthly will be appearing in Toronto’s famous Silver Snail store. Both signings are from 12-3pm.

I'll try to swing by the Big B in Niagara Falls on Saturday to see what's going on. Probably no one signing at that location though, maybe they'll let me sign autographs as "Friend of the guys that created the figure".
