What is the best 8" Mego Play Set?

I just got a bat cave (hooray!) and wondered what folks would say is the eprfect Mego playset.

It isn't Mego, but I often played with my megos in GI Joe's A-Team HQ.

I also loved Big Jim's Kung Fu Studio and Evel Knievel's Scramble van. But again, not mego.

The Enterprise Bridge. I mean come on! The transporter is wicked cool. Plus it's the only playset I had.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I have to go with the Enterprise. It stored my Treks and I could cart it off anywhere for adventures.

Strike that! I never had a batcave, but as I think about it the cave would have been cooler because I could have used all my bat vehicles with it.

I had both the Bridge and Batcave, I think the Enterprise is a better playset because of the transporter and all the furniture. I carried it to first grade every day for months until it had to be stitched together with a hole punch and shoelaces. But the Batcave has lots of great memories, and Mego got a lot of mileage out of that shell.

The Forbidden Zone is pretty cool, too, I've always wanted one.

          Can't vote yet, must think.

This is a weird one for me because as a kid, I never had a playset for the 8" lines. Had some Comic Action stuff and Trek movie but none of my likes/dislikes are motivated by childhood.

The Hall of Justice, is the best. The teleporter makes the whole playset cool.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

I voted for Enterprise Bridge, only because it's the only Mego playset I ever owned.

Surprisingly (for me) I went with the Enterprise...I remember being intrigued by it as a kid and it still holds up today I think. The superhero playsets left me a little cold...not as comic book accurate as I'd have liked.

The Batcave while cool, could've been so much more if they had combined it with some of the elements/graphics from the Wayne Foundation. The Hall of Justice transporter thing doesn't work nearly as good as the Enterprise's.

I had the Enterprise bridge and the apes treehouse and both were cool but I voted for the forbidden zone. My friend had the forbidden zone and I thought it was the coolest thing with the jail cell and net trap and 2 stories for the figures to hangout on.

Yeah but the cool thing about the HOJ transporter is it put the hero at the scene. The Bridge Playset just made them disappear.

I'd have to say that my vote was a little biased. The Enterprise was the only one I ever had...

This is a toughie for me too, b/c the only 2 sets I own now are the Enterprise and the Ape village. I never had any as a child. I've been wanting the Gamma 6 set for a long time now, and keep hoping Doc Mego will make a more affordable one (hint!). At one point I might have said the Apes fortress, until I found out it's completely made of cardboard. But the Enterprise is really cool b/c of that transporter, screens and furniture. I'll have to say it's a toss up between the Enterprise and Gamma 6.

As an adult the HOJ is exciting to me because of the great Neil Adams artwork on the outside, plus I never saw it as a kid so it was novel. But the disaster scene gimmick doesn't work well enough, though that door chamber is very cool.

Had to go with Gamma VI since it was the only playset I had as a kid. I remember seeing the Enterprise Bridge once in Sears and wanting one soooooo bad but never had the good fortune of getting one.
