Fabulous! But I can't see paying $80 for it. But if you can afford it, go for it!

Doc and I had a conversation about the retail price when this first came about. The license conditions were strict and I have local stores selling the new ftc figures at $32.95 each. Even if you invest $10 for 2 bodies it's $30 each. A bit high true, but not all that far out of reality. It's $5 more than people paid for a repro Mego Batman. As stated it was an non-negotiable condition of the license, and it's a start. The public response will control the future I'm sure.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

That looks fantastic. The Spidey is a amazingly Ditko, pun intentional.

Is the packaging pics out? They need to use the Spidey Annual image Lonnie has as his icon.

Maybe they're only starting with four different sets to see if they'll sell well. I know this is a totally different entertainment market but I remember TWD show started of with just 6 episodes, then as the popularity grew it went up from 6 to 12 to finally 16. I know this is a completely different situation, but you'd have to think if they sell out we'll be seeing more then just 4. Then again they have to make a lot of different accessories and clothing for them all ala Hot Toys I have no clue. The only thing for certain is if they sell (these guys should easily) then I see a bright future and a Norman Osborn in my future. Just my dumb opinion.

The only gripe i have with this, is that spending a $100 with shipping, i dont really want to be ripping this thing open, id rather have it as a display piece, and cant afford another one(unlike a figure for $20) to rip, open. Im looking forward to these though, and certainly on my list of purchases.

It's a thing of beauty. I love it. Amazing that you got this made!

The price kills it for me, though. With shipping and customs, I'm looking at around $130.
If they had been three separate figures, that would have been my way in.

                              But again, great piece!
