Diamond announces 8" Marvel figures

GAME ON! I knew the Doc still had it! This has everything I cluild ever want, all in one box. What mego was - as well as what mego could be.
I already have the original megos, this gives me something MORE!
I have been waiting for Medicom RAH style figures. Waiting for new heads.
Doc has done it!!! I'm no fan of superheroes, but Paul really packs a wallop with each amazing release.
He never fails to show he's still got game!
Paul knows less is more and knows how to make a Merry Christmas for everyone! Count me in!

With the DC figures I feel like. "Man, How many Doc Mego bodies do I have to get to rebuild these things???"

But With Doc's figures I'm like "OMG I can't wait to add bodies to these figures!!!!"
It's Like my favorite EMCE Zombie Kit (I bought 5 of those), but with Marvel alter egos! Imagine if you mix these with the zombie kits!!!
I'd pay $80 all day long for sets like this!

WOW!!! That was some dinner!!! Here is the picture of Peter Parker without glasses.

Sorry fellas - I have been driving home from an Easter in Virginia so I didn't find out about this
until now.

The retail price is a condition of the license. What specific retailers choose to sell them for
is up to them.

The Peter Parker glasses are removeable. I will post pics of him sans glasses after I get some dinner.

This is all because of Chuck Terceira at Diamond Select Toys - he was willing to wrestle with Marvel.

That is why I will be at Chicago for C2E2 - so come all ye faithful to cheer the news!

$80 bucks is a lot of money for me to drop on any toy. I'm on the fence on this one. Damn being poor.

Now please forgive the stupid question. As swapping bodies and such is still an area of the hobby I'm clueless about. Is there a specific brand of aftermarket body I'd need to get to make up a Peter Parker and alternate Spidey figure? Because if I got this set I'd want all three on display.

Don't really know until we see the neck posts, but I'd be safe in saying Doc Mego's bodies will work if nothing else.
