Calling all Pacific Northwest Mego Eat and Vintage Toy Lovers! New Toy Show in town!
Of course!
The emphasis is on pre-1990 stuff, any stuff that is toy or pop culture related.
I'm getting pretty excited. Like I said I am slowly making the rounds of local vintage toy people and everyone sounds supportive and interested.
This week I'm finishing up making stacks of attendee flyers and vendor flyers.

Looking forward to this show. I assume vintage LEGO as well as MEGO would be welcome there?
Hopefully there is a cap on how many Hotwheels dealers will be there lol. Seems the last few toy shows I have been to, the stuff I like to collect vs the 10 million Hotwheels on the tables tends to sway more in the Hotwheels corner. Oh well, whatever can be done to make it a big event I guess lol.
I am looking forward to this either way. I love the pre-90s theme. That alone is worth the drive.
Looking for:
--Lion Rock "Mr Rock's" shoes/ boots (these may also be the same as the lion rock monster line boots)

Yeah, me and my buddy are going out of our way to contact vintage toy vendors who are more diversified first...Nothing against car guys but you are right, they often dominate vintage shows, especially I hear the vintage shows in your area CapnMike.
Luckily there are quite a few vintage toy sellers in my area who sell action figures and retro games and funky toys. But give the vintage car guys their due, if it weren't for their presence, many vintage toy shows around the nation would fade away.
Both me and my buddy are action figure guys so expect a lot of those kind of vendors in the majority.
I remember the pre-eBay days of vintage toy shows. Back in the days of 'Toy Shop' I was a kid in a candy shop, without enough money.
I've been hanging on now for a number of years because cool stuff can be found now and then, and I get to see and visit my dear friends. This networking has providing me with commissions and exposure.
If Vancouver Toy Junkies is anything like what Mike has shown with Mego-Eat, this is going to be the Vintage Action Figure toy show of the PNW! Trust me I've seen Mego Heaven, and they had pizza and beer there!
This will most likely be, yet another time, I didn't have enough money.
Half my tables are booked and sold with a bunch of people waiting till show gets closer before they pay...
If you live in the Portland metro area, please contact me to be a vendor or send me your vintage toy wish list. Vendors want to know what to bring...
Mikemc5, I may have missed it in the thread...but what are the specifics for this show outside the may 25 th date...address, etc....I'm not a vendor...but a local in portland and very much interested in coming.
