    4,5,6,7,8,9 or 10.......examples who cares.

I was not the only person who found your thread accusatory. We will leave it there, as I too will not argue.

Well - the boards were down. And than all the snow, and more snow lol just reading some of these posts now.

      1) It was great to see some of the Megos Jordan bought from me off camera make this episode! That Custom set of Adam West & Burt Ward Robin set he sold for 160.00 were mine
The boxes were made by toyroom. Very cool to see those and a bunch of my other figures on his shelf (green arrow 2 pack and a set of custom alter egos) Very cool! I was so happy to see them on TV

      2) I can't speak for every episode. But on my episode the inter-action with Jordan & "D" was real. You can ask half the people on my block - thats how loud he screamed when he found those AJ figures. My set up is in the basement - My wife heard him all the way up on the 2nd floor. Also you can see my face is nervous when talking prices. Again I can't speak on any other episodes.

Hope to see more Megos and Star Wars in the upcoming episodes!

Aaron is correct. It is the same one. There are 4, and only one is sealed.

Let me see if I've got this...

mystery, mystery, mystery... Charlie obtains carded WW... Charlie sells carded WW to Mark/Jordan... Mark/Jordan sell carded WW to camera shy, mystery buyer... the sun still comes up the next morning.

            That is even more amazing!

Mark/Jordan sold an opened/resealed carded Wonder Woman for $28,000. Maybe benbarb was the camera shy buyer who will take great photos and sell it on eBay for $56,000.
Common sense is not that common.

I would laugh louder at this but as I may end up in Austin next year on a business trip so I will merely chuckle...And wear a wig at benbarbs store when I get there, ha!

Guys.. the Wonder Woman I sold at Comikaze was sealed.

I was not with Mark when he purchased the figure, and to be honest.. I dont know who he got it from. I was not at the show.

The one we had was sold, and it was SEALED.

I don't know what Mark did with any others he purchased... so please.. don't hold me accountable for others on the market.

                Thanks!

No offense to anyone, and I do enjoy the show as much as anyone (especially this episode), but I am repeating this statement because it is the truth.

I will do what I can to prevent the spreading of misinformation when it comes to the rarities of this hobby.

Guys.. I am 100% behind listening to you.. you know more about the item than I do.

All I know is that Mark comes to Comikaze and has a SEALED wonder woman mego. He wants to split it with me.. I agree. We agree on the price with his buyer.. and I never saw the figure again. That's it.

I got my cut.. Mark took it to his buyer.

I know another popped up on Ebay a few weeks later.

Mark kept saying this was only the forth or third he saw, and he owns two for himself.

If you know more.. I trust you. But, I will tell you for a fact, the one sold on TOY HUNTER was sealed, and not a reseal. if you look at the beauty shots of the card spinning.. you can see its sealed.

Is that what this is all about? Because to be honest.. I dont even know anymore.

In any event.. if you dont hear from me for awhile.. its because Im traveling to another country for the show... not because I'm ignoring anyone.

                    Best!
                    Jordan

PS why doesnt someone just grab Mark and ask him? He's always around.

Hey Jordan and gang, I love and respect all of you, and I am a big fan of the show.

Jordan, it does matter how many exist, and it does matter how many are factory sealed or not, because they are so rare. This certainly applies to carded Wonder Woman, carded Ironman, and carded Green Goblin. These figures are legendary in our hobby. I have collected vintage Mego and Star Wars for over 20 years, so please trust me when I say that there is nothing in the vintage Star Wars hobby that compares in terms of rarity of commercial product.

Here are the facts. I was trying to be circumspect because I wanted to respect Mark's privacy, but transparency appears to be the best route here:

                        A) I purchased this figure:

I assure you that it was not represented as factory sealed when it was listed for auction, and it was not factory sealed when I received it.

                        B) After receiving it, I texted pictures to Mark, and he offered to purchase it

                        C) Mark said something like, "Hey, this would be a great item to feature on Toy Hunter, I checked with the producers, and they like the idea, can we do the sale on the show?"

                        D) The date for filming was chosen, and I was unfortunately unavailable. Mark and I both thought Charlie would be the ideal candidate to stand in on the show (he was awesome)

                        E) Mark and I made another deal involving multiple figures, including the transfer of what had been for years his second (or back up) copy carded Wonder Woman to me (his primary copy was and still is the only sealed example, which used to be John Bonavita's and was featured in John's Mego book). The deal also involved a carded Catwoman and a 21 back Boba Fett (if anyone cares)

                        F) I listed this other carded Wonder Woman, which had been Mark's back up copy, on ebay, fishing for a high offer. Here is the listing, which was already posted by Aaron earlier in this thread:

I pulled the auction and it still sits in my collection. I turned down offers of $7K and $10K. I am not super inclined to sell such a rare item, but may have bitten if an offer had come in higher.

That's it. I can't speak for the fate of the $28K WW after it left my hands. It sure appears sealed on the show, but I am guessing that sealed/not sealed/resealed may not have entered into any discussion between Mark and Jordan. I texted Mark today and he basically said Jordan probably didn't realize it was opened. Regardless, it is a beautiful and rare item, and the buyer should be pleased.

BTW, if anyone is questioning how realistic a $28K sale could be, I was offered (and turned down) $28K for my carded Ironman a few years ago.

Wow...l, thank you for clearing that up.

I have to be honest, I'm a bit upset with Mark right now. This is exactly why I dont like stuff like this to go on behind my back on the show. Deals get made without my knowledge and then things are presented to me... as something entirely different. And.. if you're telling me now that the Wonder Woman was opened... well, that gets me more upset because it was presented to me as being sealed.

It looks like Mark worked a bit too closely with the producers on this one... and didn't let me know what was going on.

Thanks to everyone here, I appreciate it. My apologies to you Aaaron... as always... you have my respect.

                          See you all soon,
                          Jordan

Dumbldor, just curious, were those brown stains on the yellow area of the figure's suit or on the bubble? Couldn't see them on the show.
