The show was great, and it was lots of fun to see a friend on TV!
The first thing I said to my wife though was, that's his storage not his collection.
Those are probably the ones he puts in his two-packs! LOL
If you watch close in the beginning, you see one of the two-packs in someone's hands.
I wish they would have panned the display room though.
I looked at your pics Vin and your collection is outstanding!

Maybe Jordan will come back again looking for Star Wars in another episode!

The 2 pack the flash to in the episode (twice) Is the Spiderman / Peter Parker 2 Pack.

I can say he bought a few custom Mego figures off camera. (I think it was a total of 8)
Since it was off camera I do not think I can say which ones.

Some of the scenes that did not make it in - D had explained to me why he wanted these toys (for the kids) and that they would be played with.
So D was ok with some reproduction parts being on the figures.

I was ok with the prices I got. Believe it or not that is what I paid for them, so I did not lose money and more important it was for kids and charity - So I was 100% cool with it.

Anyone who has kids, or gives back to kids (toys for tots, make a wish foundation etc) knows what I'm talking about. It is a great thing he does with his charity.

Also just want to thank everyone here at the MM for the support and help promoting the show!
I hear ya Vinny... I for one am a sucker when it comes to kids in need. I always wish I could do more Myself when it comes to them. I make it a point every year to adopt a family for christmas wether it is 1 kid, 2 kids, 5 kids they put 3 wishes down on a paper your only suppose to get them 1 but I wind up filling the list every year.

And if any one wants to see Vinnys colection... Every Sunday, Macaronies and Megos at his house lol

Well, even if they flashed over your best stuff, I enjoyed the show. And that was a celebrity appearance I didn't cringe about. You could tell DMC was actually enthusiastic about this, and I have tremendous respect for him for starting that charity. Spreading real toy love is a great bonus.

Was D sitting on your porch when the episode wrapped? It looked like the same house where you waved good bye to them.

I do wish we could have seen more of your collection, but they have the "Lazy Susan" camera trick thing to show pristine stuff, I suppose. Hunting through totes and basements, etc, excites common folk that they may have untapped treasures lurking in attics, etc.

Yes Chris - Those shots of D sitting out side on the steps are the steps to my house.

What is priceless is hanging out with him while he was sitting on my couch! That was cool. Just talking football and music. was great!

Vinny, let me say that first and foremost, I thought you did a great job and really were a great ambassador for us Megoheads. You did us proud, brother!

I agree it was disappointing that the action took place in that storage room with rubber totes, rather than in your amazing toy room with your whole collection on display. I guess it creates that illusion of them finding hidden gems... but when you have that kind of eye candy, I would think you'd want to show it off. If you are filming at the Playboy Mansion, do you complain about the scantily clad Bunnies cavorting in the background?

That said, it was still exciting to see all the love for Mego on display... especially fun, interesting pieces like RM Robin and Action Jackson. Glad you got to explain the history of the AJ name, for instance. That was very neat to see on TV.

Oh... and when D made his line about making a Mego of himself, I thought, "Vinny could probably kitbash him one in no time!"

we have now compared vinnys display area to the Louvre AND the Playboy Mansion, ha!

as bummed as we are not to see the money shot, neither Jordan or Vinny has final cut of show

it still boggles my mind how much mego exposure ends up on that show, wow!

Guys thanks again for the kind words. I wish I was a little less nervous and also a little more articulate.

I was very happy I knew that story about AJ. (which I learned from right here at the MM from reading past interviews of Martin & Ken Abrams)

I did tell the RM story as well but i mumbled it a little. I tried explaining why they stopped using the RM mask and why they went with the cheaper painted on mask.

Look I know people wanted to see more - we are all die hard Mego heads so I understand why a few people are a little upset. Please do not be. It is a great show for us and other toy lines as well.

But like I said it is really only a 20 min show or less when you add in the commercials. The point was to get "D's Charity" involved and help some great kids use their minds.

All in All I think the show turned out great. I was just glad to be part of the show - and bring some Mego to TV and spread some Mego Love.

I'm sure this episode will cause us to get more mego and star wars down the line. So bring us more Mego (& star wars) Jordan
