Southern Ontario Toy and Comic Shows

I will be carting my Mego Customs and ReMegos around the next few weeks. Come say Howdy!

I'll have Rack Toys, Megozine, Brick Mantooth for sale, and FREE Mego Museum/Plaid Stallions trading cards (including the Batman Family reprints).

I'll also have copies of my comics, including Cerebus and The Munchsters. As well as prints (including Mego Meet Superman vs Ali, which I just excavated from storage). Plus I'll be doing FREE Monster sketches for kids.

Tomorrow (Saturday Nov 30th): Utopia Collectibles show, up near Barrie.


Sunday Dec 1st. The Christmas Con in Windsor Ontario. (across the border from Detroit)


Sunday Dec 15th. Toronto Comic/Anime Con.

Kinda funny that on Dec 29th a whack of my Hamilton Polish Mafia cousins will be in Peterborough. Exact opposite.

I'm in Hamilton as we speak but heading to Bracebridge tomorrow so we might drive past each other as you head to Aurora

No worries Chris, I already bought our tickets, and given how this is a minor miracle that we've aligned our schedules like this before Christmas, we are definitely Go.

Is is tempting though, particularly if Dana and his brother are going to be there. Fellas, please let me know how the show goes, I might try out Woodstock in the new year.

Boy, Hamilton and Woodstock having shows the same weekend. Things are getting tad aggressive between the various shows and promoters in Southern Ontario. January is shaping up to be similar in terms of the way they are scheduling the Mississauga Hansa Haus show and the Ontario Collectors Con on the same day.

I've already booked a table for the latter (just because I did well at their Markham show)

I can't believe all the shows that are going on in Southern Ontario recently, I'm surprised the market can support all that. Hopefully attendance doesn't suffer due to the saturation of shows, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I think we saw a little bit of that with the last show we attended. I'm looking forward to Burlington in January because it's the first out of the gate after the holidays. The next weekend, there are two shows competing in Toronto.

Woodstock show was well attended today by vendors and attendees the show was in 2 1/2 buildings big lineup as well in the morning. I missed out of some Star Trek aliens keeper, neptunion,the dude wasn't at his table justwandering around, i got some nice comics X-Men issues 15 and 25 I passed on a #10. Older guy and his wife I've never seen before at shows were blowing out some really old marvel comics, Xmen, fantastic four, spidey, tales of suspense and western comics from the 50's. Was a good day if you liked comics
