I had 15 of the WGSH, plus a couple POTA, three Trek, a Mummy, Robin Hood, Little John and Long John Silver. Oh and three of the KISS dolls. I think that covers all the Megos I had when I was a kid.

Let's see. . .i had a 12" spiderman, 8" Batman, Superman, Robin, and Captain Kirk. I had no idea who Kirk was when I was little. Also had 3 3/4 Batman, Superman, Robin, Spiderman, Bo, Luke, Daisy, General Lee and Jeep.

12" Spiderman also had fly away action. My mind was blown! I played with it for years. One of the best Christmas' ever at my grandparents.Last edited by TomStrong; Nov 21, '13, 6:21 PM.Comment

I had 22 8" superhero figures, 2-3 CAH, zero 12" heroes. I don't remember having any Trek, Monsters, Knights or anything else, just heroes as far as Megos are concerned.Comment

I had Batman, Robin, Superman, Spiderman, Captain America and The Incredible Hulk. I wanted Shazam, but at the time we went to buy him, we couldn't find him.
I also had a the Comic Action Heroes and the Pocket Heroes: Batman, Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Spiderman, Hulk. I also had the Batmobile set x 2 and possibly some of the villains, but I can't say for certain.
Additionally, I has the 1979 Diecast Spider-Man figure. I got him on my fifth birthday in May of '79.

Here's what I currently remember having:
Batman, Robin, Superman, Aquaman, Spiderman, Captain America, (I remember the stitched belt and shield vividly)....I'm sure I had more, but those come to mind right now.... Also-I still have the crate that I used to store them in. I remember that vividly.
I also had plenty of Star Trek and Planet of the Apes..... I remember having the Neptunian-the green gloves, boots & head I remember very well.... And I remember seeing that my mom's friend's son had Planet of the Apes Burke & Virdon. I asked my mom if I could get them too... I remember recognizing exactly who Burke & Virdon were when we went to their house, and I saw them laying on the table.... I really liked that show when I was young....
I specifically remember having Mad Monsters. I remember Draculas suit, and putting it on the Wolfman..... Also, I remember having some Knights and Pirates, but I don't remember playing with them much... I remember seeing them in my crate, but that's about it.... I remember seeing the Western figures at the store, but I don't remember having them....Galaxy ExplorerComment

I had Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, Robin, Hulk, and Captain America.
I had a chance to get Supergirl, but told my dad I wanted a Klingon instead...I wasn't gonna be caught dead with a girlie doll, my, how times change, lol.
Non superheroes...I had Kirk, Spock, and one Klingon.
POTA, one lowly Soldier Ape, lol.
Always wanted the Star Trek playset...but never got it
I also wanted the Star Trek communicators, also never got it.
That's about it.sigpicComment

Are we counting the amount of Megos that broke? I went through at least 3 Batman before my mother tried to string him together. She could have learned a lot from you guys.Last edited by Chris; Nov 22, '13, 12:56 PM.If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.Comment

Wow... That IS a tough assignment. I was Mego CRAZY as a kid. I had all the male superheroes and villains (minus the Lizard and Mxyzptlk) up until the Teen Titans came out. Those were tough because I only wanted the Kid Flash and never saw him locally. And the mail order option disappeared after only one issue in Heroes World. So never got any of them as a kid. My only female addition was BatGirl and I had a friend pick that up for me. I had the 12 inch Spider-man, Superman, Magnetic Batman, and Hulk figures. If we go outside the heroes it really gets complicated. I had the Wizard of Oz figures (minus Dorothy); All the Mego Monsters; Of course I got all of the 12 inch KISS figures (still have those originals boxed). Oh and I had a bunch of Action Jackson figures. Now originally I had the clean shaven, bearded, and red bearded versions. My favorite was the clean shaven black haired edition. I had Fonzie and Muhammad Ali. Still have those originals too. I had the Mego Star Trek Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Klingon figures. I don't think I went beyond that base line. And of course I had quite a few POTA figures as well. I'm sure there are more. But that's what comes to mind. When you add Big Jims, GI Joes, AHI, and LJN figures in that lot, I was essentially an action figure geek-deluxe. Always have, always will.Comment
