I knew Alfred was in wave 3 for a while and also know a little more that I wish I could share, but to say I'm excited for waves 4, 5 and 6 would be an understatement!! Hold on to your socks!

Any hints? Will these be Bat characters?

Actually, the Mattel figures were cancelled due to a management change, not poor sales. TRU wanted to keep the line going, but Mattel didn't.

Speaking of this new line "tanking"... Mattel's Retro line tanked after only a few waves because of bad decisions... I don't want to see that happen to THIS line.

Most of us know that and have a distain for mattel because they mishandled a great line . I am so grateful to you for getting the 4 waves plus Green Lanterns out to us. Folks who think they tanked because of which characters were chosen are really missing the point.

A Gotham Cop or two like Montoya and Bullock
Gotham SWAT
Arkham Asylum Personnel
Basic Criminals; Bank Robbers, Burglars, Lawyers (Ouch! Call the burn unit!)*
Henchmen (Joker goons, Penguin goons, Catwoman goons, Riddler goons, etc.)

Now get ready to have your mind BLOWN- Villain Secret Identities! They all include their civilian clothes!
But in this case, it's:
District Attorney Harvey Dent (pre-accident Two-Face with opening briefcase, and criminal files for every villain except Two-Face of course...)
Removable Mask Red Hood (pre-accident Joker with tuxedo, pistol and deck of cards)
Victor Fries (Pre-Accident Mister Freeze, with scientific accessories)
Kirk Langstrom (Pre-Tranformation Man-Bat! SCREECH! Includes chemical test tubes, Bat-Serum, and Antidote Syringe!)

And how about Gotham City Prison Uniforms so we can lock those guys up and throw away the key? I bet Catwoman would look excellent in hers.

To say I regret taking the HARD stance that Alfred could have been trumped by at least 5 other top-tier Batman-themed characters is an understatement.

Of course this Mattel info adds fuel to failure on my own head.

I will repeat that nothing about my criticisms of Figures Inc OR Mattel are bereft of a huge appreciation for new 8 inch figures in retro-styled outfits OR choices like Alfred... on a personal note.

I love Brian, but deny his criticism. I have to insist me saying that my sentiment of speaking for the health of the line was true, if not misguided.

You'd think I'd've known better than to make such a mistake having been here through ups and downs of such topics.

I'll try to be more careful in the future.
