Decent episode, I definitely remember the Hot Wheels center or something a lot like it. At least Mego is getting cameo love, this week it was mentioned and he definitely had one the 12 Wonder Woman line at this booth. The Droids Fett thing is insane. I guess if you a strictly a Fett collector, but there's a reason the Droids line didn't sell and those ugly cards didn't help matters.

I can see what a good job everyone is doing at keeping it real as possible. I mean, the Flagg always selling for $6,000 and GEE what a surprise! Right as the con was ending, somebody comes and forks over the cash! Just like the overpriced (oops, did I say that?) Tomahawk in the last episode. Which was pretty much the same as this one, only with a different premises and items.

I don't think that was probably all that staged- I was at C2E2 on Sunday and Jordan still had the Flagg sitting there for 7500- that was early afternoon. I'm pretty sure the guy that bought that Flagg is actually a member here- believe he owns an auction house, he was scooping up all sorts of **** at the Kane Co. show

On a side note, been to 2 shows that Jordan was there and never made the cut for TV... Damnit!

Let me know if you want company next time- I promise I won't suck at TV!
        Looking for:

        • Boxed Mego Monsters
        • AHI Jigglers / Bendy Monsters (Carded and Loose)

Well, if he is I'm sure he still wouldn't tell the truth....considering everyone has to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

MVanis--- you are absolutely correct sir.

The deal was real, not staged in any way. While I can not give the buyer's information, I will say he is an incredible guy; smart, personable and no BS. I could have not asked for a better customer and hope to sell to him again in the future.

Would be super cool if Jordan could make Megomeet 2014 next June, I think he would find it super cool how we keep Mego alive and how cool all the new Customs are

Last minute deals at cons are par for the course, especially with big ticket items. Most people with serious bread that are buying to invest will wait until the last minute in order to attempt getting a "desperation" discount. You can't really blame them, especially in this market. Both the Tomahawk and Flagg were priced on the highest end of things but keep in mind, big shows, big overhead, and usually some buyers that will pay more because it's in front of them to inspect and that counts for a whole lot with very desirable pieces. I've seen some higher prices on Toy Hunter but I think people go to Jordan when they want just the right thing with a 100% certain grading from a highly legitimate seller. That is worth the extra cost for a lot of serious, no hassle buyers.

Bigger sales at shows are becoming more and and more commonplace right now. From customers tell me.. they want to really KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GETTING. You can't really do much better than inspecting the item in person.

I make it easy by taking not only Paypal but also Credit Cards...

Finally, its easier on me, knowing that the buyer has inspected the items in person and is happy with them. I really don't do any returns from these types of sales; I dont have to.

It just seems that people really want to inspect the item in person, especially when it comes to big ticket $$$.'

That really makes a lot of sense.

You'd make even more money by charging $5 for hearing "my wife is going to kill me"

Yeah, but how much money would you make if you only charged $1 every time somebody tells you how much they can buy it for on Ebay...

                              Jordan,

Great episode. Not sure if you saw my previous post to you. Will you be attenting Mid-Ohio Con this year? Would love to see you again.

I always enjoy the show. I just wish it was an hour long instead of 30 minutes.
