Does the prototype have retracting claws?

I always wondered if those were supposed to extend- drove me crazy as a kid!

Yup, they were either cost reduced out or eliminated for safety or production reasons. I'm sure you weren't the only kid that frustrated, I've always wondered how many kids tried to pull them out.

I like the retractable claws. I think it's interesting to see how toys change from the prototype stage to the actual produced figure. I think the yellow accents on the VINcent prototype really added to the look of the figure.
