I like the retractable claws. I think it's interesting to see how toys change from the prototype stage to the actual produced figure. I think the yellow accents on the VINcent prototype really added to the look of the figure.

I always wondered if those were supposed to extend- drove me crazy as a kid!

Yup, they were either cost reduced out or eliminated for safety or production reasons. I'm sure you weren't the only kid that frustrated, I've always wondered how many kids tried to pull them out.

In keeping with our theme of Prototype week we present the original V.I.N.Cent from the Black Hole. Mego made some changes to this guy before he was released so it's an interesting piece to say the least.
