More Mego Love this Wednesday on TOY HUNTER, including a shout out... please watch

Just a recap... Shirley called and was a bit upset on the price for the Mego ST ALIEN lot. She said her daughter called and told her should could have gotten more money. So.. I sent her another check.

I am now into the set for $3800. Less money for profit.. but she needed it and really wanted to have "peace" with the deal.

Did I over pay?

very cool of you bro...that's a little messed up from her to do though..**** I've sold stuff super cheap at times but you don't see me going back and asking for more..I thought you paid her more then a fair price the first time...Yea you probably over paid now and will probably take a loss..But you've earned a lot of respect here if that's worth anything

I afraid tllgn were right that's nice to give her the $3800.... she'll appreciate it, I don't wanted to see her upset if you make her ran so lowered for the set of rarity Unpunched Carded Trek Aliens. BTW, I've seen the most MOC Mugato with yellow shirt is not variant, it's faded from the sunlight and over heated storage room for years. I've seen rare flesh green shirt that'll bring more money but if has yellow shirt with it's original unpunched mint carded is very rare, I don't see often with mint cond. FYI:

Wow Jordan, that only makes you that much cooler in our eyes. I agree with most that she had no right to call you back. You by no means low balled her in any way. The toy gods will reward you with a vinyl caped jawa and a couple double telescoping lightsaber figs for your generosity.

Well, even though I kinda sided with the elderly lady in the beginning (Jordan's first offer of $1500 was low), but he counter offered with $2500, which was fair for both sides. Now the "sweet" little ol' lady got a little greedy...and asked for $3800, way too much for Jordan to brake even here....a deal is a deal...and I personally would've stuck to my guns and kept the $2500...or just taken the figures back to her.

That innocent senior citizen turned out to have both claws and fangs, lol.

That was very decent of you Jordan, and shows that you're an honest person and more than fair in business. But it irks me to no end when people pull stunts like that woman did, she should've been aware of what her items were worth & what they were truly worth to her in order to sell them. There's always going to be someone who'll come along and say, "Oh you could've gotten more for that!" If she wanted more, then she should have sold them directly to another collector, not to a dealer. Some people never understand that you're not going to get top going price when you're selling to someone who plans to resell it, and has their own overhead business costs to factor in. Reminds me of back when I sold used cd's in my shop for $5 each, and people would get angry because I wouldn't pay them $5 each for their discs they were getting rid of. In any case, at least it's good karma for you and helps to keep your reputation respectable!
