Thoughts on the DC Robot Chicken special?

I thought it was just ok, not as good as the first Star Wars one. the Bane bit was tedious, but I liked the Zoo Crew funeral & the Invisible plane bit.

Nice seeing the Legion of Doom too. ...great work on the customs.

I think there were just too many obscure references like Mr. Banjo & Chillblaine. That being said, however, I would LOVE to see the Inferior Five, Prez, or Brother Power next time. Should be built in joke material there.

I totally forgot about this and meant to record it. I just downloaded and I thought it was very well done. I really could have watched another half hour at least. As Doc mentioned, the blending of Mego, RA and DCU CLassics was spot on. Unlike most I thought the Bane thing was funny. There were some lol moments I wasn't expecting and a few groaners, but overall I'm happy with this and will purchase it when released.

Glad to see people are still digging this show for totally selfish reasons: they are still coming to us for custom heads. So please continue supporting the show so we can keep working! Heads we did that were featured in this special were the Margot Kidder/Lois Lane and Ryan Reynolds/Hal Jordan. They also used a Megan Fox head we did for season 5. She was a girl at the bar someone tried to pick up. I thought they did a good job on the episode, but I could see were those who didn't have a deep knowledge of the mythology could be left scratching thier heads at a few of the punchlines. I was really looking forward to something inappropriate from Adam West Batman. Maybe next special.

I thought the bane gag was too drawn out once was ok twice was plenty but they kept going there. Same with the Kiss gag too long. Loved the zoo crew ref and like Chris Knowing how to say b'ag was neat. in the obscure ref catagory I would have rather seen Funky flashman, classic prankster, or the Fiddler over Banjo man. I loved the Frozen villian gag and the nod to how influential the BAS designs are with Freeze's suit but I would have taken it farther adding in golden age icicle, mr zero (IN know he's mr freeze but hey differrent name and suit).
