What is bad is I had all the Mego collector books. Right now I have no idea where they at or if I still have them thanks to packing and moving so many times.Visit my wiki site:

Well, that is certainly interesting news in light of this thread, the grousing about initial sales, and an earlier directive that we collectors should under no circumstances badger the publisher about another run.
It just goes to prove, in the bizarre world of Mego, whether it's remego WGSH or WGT!, anything is possible.
I'd be most interested to learn if a second printing would actually be a second edition featuring additions/corrections.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Congrats Ben... No matter how big or small the Mego community is I guess there was enough interest in your work of art to reissue it... The hits just keep on coming... First Figures toy company with their bombshell then Biff Bang Pow with their release of Big Bangs Sheldon, David and Craig with their start up then Doc and EMCE with their new bodies and the re release of Bens book damn if it isn't Christmas in July
keep it coming guys my overtime is starting soon lol

I agree. I was very surprised when he asked me. I try to believe "Never say never," but in this case I really thought the 'never' was forever.Well, that is certainly interesting news in light of this thread, the grousing about initial sales, and an earlier directive that we collectors should under no circumstances badger the publisher about another run. All of that remains TBD. The publisher and I have not yet even discussed the project… merely agreed to it. At the very least I will want to correct the typos and errors. Please feel free to Email any mistakes to me: benjamin (at) worldsgreatesttoys.com. I will be very appreciative of any corrections you guys find.

Even though I still have my copy if there is any additional material, I'd gladly pick up the second printing since I think it's a fantastic book.Comment

I am actually in favor of a SOFTCOVER 2nd Edition. I believe one of our objectives should be reducing the price-point to make this edition as affordable and as desirable as possible. I also feel doing a Softcover will differentiate the First Edition HARDCOVERS and keep them rare and special. My 2¢ without having discussed things with the publisher yet.

I'd prefer a soft-cover myself. That could be my reading copy.Comment
