I actually have to give BBP credit. While I agree the Android Sister figure was an obscure character for an initial release, it's not an easy one to pull off, especially in 8 inch scale. That head is no piece of cake. It looks really good and I've gotta think other characters would have had a much easier sculpt to pull off. Thanks for not shying away from the challenge. Obscure or not it's a cool looking figure. Plus now you've got to fill in the figures in the middle. You have to do Baltar. Whose Lucifer going to be sarcastic to?

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Jason! I guess it's only fair someone else gets a crack at making something cool, because you guys are doing more than your share. BSG, SMDM, and Dr. Who--you guys are at the top of your game, making a lot of people happy.

EDIT: I'd like to add a suggestion, too--I hope you guys aren't done with your 7" figures. Last night, I was looking at how nice the sculpting was on those Flash Gordon figures Alex Ross designed and thought The Six Million Dollar Man would be great in that scale or maybe Dune. I don't know who you had sculpt them, but he did a beautiful job--they fit in perfectly with DC Direct's Alex Ross "Justice" and Kingdom Come lines.

I'm glad that the First Doctor isn't being done as a black & white. I just hope we get a Sarah Jane figure soon.

As for BG - PLEASE don't forget the 3 main female characters.

On the "molded vs. rooted" hair question - for me molded short hair isn't a problem but if it's long hair the molded hair gets in the way of the figures head being able to turn so it should be rooted. My 2 cents.

I am SO looking forward to Who, BG and SMDM - BBP is tops in my book.

    You are the best, JL!

Unique choice or not the Android Sister looks phenominal. Plus, I'm a molded hair man.

It's going to be hard to top Series 2 Venture Bros packaging. I luv that reduced card size.

Past experiences tell me I can't always stop any speculation and criticism that pops up, but I just want to stress once again: the figures on display are PROTOTYPES. They are NOT finished, and we know what we need to tweak, along with the licensors. Bottom line, if you like what we've done in the past and how our finished figures look, then put that filter on when you're looking at these. Also, to clarify once again, pay no attention to the large heads. They WILL be in scale, as they always are. (With the exception of a couple of hiccups we've had, ). It seems every time we put up new figures there's confusion about the head scale, so I wanted to make that clear once again. And I guess for the record I should state that that will ALWAYS be the case when we show prototypes, the heads won't be in scale until they're finished.
The head issue has been addressed already.

I'm really anxious to see that Creature too and the Bride. I keep hoping for maybe more original Star Trek reveals and some more STTNG but maybe I'm dreaming too much. We'll have to wait until the morning.

We're even... If you can find a photo of the Retro-Cloth Creature! Kidding of course. DST said it'll be out tomorrow, but it feels like I'm waiting for Christmas morning!

I thought I pretty much missed out on a Barnabas Collins, so it's good to see that pic. Something else I need to get from BBP this year! These guys are really delivering.

Freakin awesome !!! I was concerned the Dark Shadows line might have officially died. As much as I love the other Re-Mego lines being prduced now DS is at the top of my list. It has to hang on until we get at least Quinten and Josette.
