First Doctor Figure ALRIGHT!!!!!! but i don't like Exclusives. i know we got last years okay but i worry about something like a Doctor being a Exclusive. and those BSG figures ROCK!"Hang on Lady... We go for a RIDE!" - Shorty to Willie Scott.Best movie line from Indiana Jones & the Temple Of DoomComment

It seems every time we put up new figures there's confusion about the head scale, so I wanted to make that clear once again. And I guess for the record I should state that that will ALWAYS be the case when we show prototypes, the heads won't be in scale until they're finished.
Unique choice or not the Android Sister looks phenominal. Plus, I'm a molded hair man.
It's going to be hard to top Series 2 Venture Bros packaging. I luv that reduced card size.If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.Comment

I'm glad that the First Doctor isn't being done as a black & white. I just hope we get a Sarah Jane figure soon.
As for BG - PLEASE don't forget the 3 main female characters.
On the "molded vs. rooted" hair question - for me molded short hair isn't a problem but if it's long hair the molded hair gets in the way of the figures head being able to turn so it should be rooted. My 2 cents.
I am SO looking forward to Who, BG and SMDM - BBP is tops in my book.Last edited by Mego Magyar; Feb 13, '12, 8:04 AM.Comment

Hey torgospizza, I need to clarify the statement you made. Much as I'd LOVE for us to take the credit for those awesome 'Dark Shadows' retro figures, they are, in fact, made by Spectre Toys. However, I WILL take the compliment about the rest of our lines. Thanks very much!!
EDIT: I'd like to add a suggestion, too--I hope you guys aren't done with your 7" figures. Last night, I was looking at how nice the sculpting was on those Flash Gordon figures Alex Ross designed and thought The Six Million Dollar Man would be great in that scale or maybe Dune. I don't know who you had sculpt them, but he did a beautiful job--they fit in perfectly with DC Direct's Alex Ross "Justice" and Kingdom Come lines.Last edited by torgospizza; Feb 13, '12, 6:07 PM.Comment

I actually have to give BBP credit. While I agree the Android Sister figure was an obscure character for an initial release, it's not an easy one to pull off, especially in 8 inch scale. That head is no piece of cake. It looks really good and I've gotta think other characters would have had a much easier sculpt to pull off. Thanks for not shying away from the challenge. Obscure or not it's a cool looking figure. Plus now you've got to fill in the figures in the middle. You have to do Baltar. Whose Lucifer going to be sarcastic to?It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment
