I would be behind an army builder idea with the cylon appearing in both of the first case assortments. I can see many people wanting more than one of these figures.

I do wonder if android sister be left untill late in the line. It seems to be a figure that most of us would never miss if it never made it into production! However, I am so excited for this line that I will have no problem putting it in my collection.
As for the Cylon troop builder set... BRING IT!!!! (please) I would like to have 5 or 6 Cylons for sure!

The funny thing to me is that the Android Sister made sense to me from a business standpoint. Starbuck is probably one of the more popular characters and to pair him with an alien would seem to be the right move since right now you can only buy in sets. Plus, there were three sisters, so completists would need three of them.

BBP please don't take my comment about the Android Sister as negative. I really appreciate all your hard work and will buy all the characters you offer to complete the set. I for one am really rooting for some ladies in the line ( especially four in particular, Athena, Serina, Cassiopeia and Sheba ) and it is great to see a lady making the first wave but I only fear as many others that it might hurt initial sales and kill the line early. Thanks again for the great job you guys are doing with these figures and all your other lines as well.

Most definitely. That is why I ordered as much as I ordered. I already know how this is going to play out when it comes to the Cylon. Once the scalpers get done scalping the on line stores will be sold out and then the only choice will be to pay more on places like Evil Bay.

I'm Loving this line. i would rather the andriod sister be way down the line of releases and we really need the silver cylons to be availible to be bought as singles , so we can build an army at our own pace , rather than as an expensive set afterwards. I know i'm probably in the minority , but i would have held starbuck back until wave 2 or 3 , Adama / Balter would have been my choice for the first set. But i've already preordred all BSG, SMDM and DR WHO stuff and will want more duplicates by the time they come out.

Totally agree with this. I might be able to buy one Cylon here or a couple of Cylons there. But I will not be able to buy an entire army builder set.

Don't know if you can do this or not. Maybe you could have both options avalible?

Not sure if this has been suggested or if it was implied with the 'army builder' idea.

If Apollo and Starbuck were shipped together as wave one , they would certainly sell.
Which would leave series two as a pair of Cylons. Or, if one was to purchase a case, 8 Cylons (instant army there). I could see people purchasing two cylons at a time. Even if you only wanted one of them, it would not be hard to resell these.

Perhaps you could incorporate gold commanders in there somehow as well. A case pack of 6 silver Cylons and 2 gold commanders would be great.

All I know is I will be buying up all of these figures. This is a dream come true. AND I want more characters from these licenses. So let's make them successful guys so they can continue to feed the beast as it were. I'm pumped and READY! Just hate having to wait...

I'm not too crazy about the singer: it certainly indicates that the line won't just be about the main heroes, but it could harm sales.

But this is a childhood dream come true, so how can I resist?

Instead of Apollo and the Cylon, pair him up with Starbuck.

They were always a team on the show, it's only fair to put them together for the release.

As for the next two; make it Adama and Baltar or Adama and Tigh.

Then you could have Baltar and a Cylon (which would be better than the previous pairing.)

Next up could be Cassie and Athena, or Athena and Serina.

The Android sister is a nice idea, but a little too obscure for us hardcore fans.
