I am really excited but honestly i could give a darn about the Android sister. I think that is a big mistake and don't understand the logic of picking such an obscure figure.

I agree. Classic BSG is a killer properity and one I am very excited for and I really want this line to suceed. But the Android Sister is a pretty weak way to start wave one and that figure will peg warm. If this line dies at wave one we won't even get a Cylon to go with Starbuck. I think Starbuck with Silver Cylon and Apollo with a Gold Cylon or Adama would have been much stronger.

If another character will be ready in time for our July 2012 release date, we will switch that in, and take out Android Sister. We are also considering a troop builder Cylon set.

I think that might be a good move. I'm really amped for this line, along with SMDM, but I'm with the others in thinking that inserting the android sister so early might be along the same lines of doing Sinestro or Lex Luthor so early with the retro heroes. I think the troop builder idea is a solid one as well.

Just out of curiousity, do you have a license for the new Galactic as well? I'm no fan of the series, but it might bring some young blood into the mego world

And I never liked the new show. It was depressing, dark, and altogether too messed up psychologically for me to enjoy.

At least with the old show, there were sort of happy endings for each episode, and a bit of hope.

It seemed like the new show was mired in despair and hopelessness each week. Plus, it took forever to resolve story arcs.

i paid off my credit card for all bif bang pow and emce figures i bought ,and i am ready and pre-ordering this years offerings ,its the waiting that is the hard part ,i like all the figures announced ,i never thought of the android sisters before,what i cool idea .

I'm not usually a negative person but I really do think having a character choice as weak as the Android Sister in wave one (or even very early in the line) would be disastrous. I think the character choice is weak enough to even potentially hurt pre-order sales.

Again, I don't like being negative. I'm a classic BSG fan and have waited a very long time for figures from the original series and I really wan't this to be successful.

I have to agree that the Android Sister is not a good idea so early in the line. Apollo, Starbuck and the Cylon are top notch choices to kick the line off though. Very excited about those.

Sometimes choices are made because of factory timing and other issues, not necessarily due to the highest priority of characters that we all want - this is clearly one of those times. But rest assured, as soon as we can confirm another character (*possibly* Adama), Android gets a ticket to the back of the line.

Don't think for a second we aren't appreciating your hard work, brother! We've just seen lines we love die way too early. Look at ZICA's Buck Rogers--they were doing everything right, IMO, and it's heartbreaking it didn't work out. I don't pretend to speak for anyone but myself, but I can assure you many of us want to give you our money for a long time to come. Just seeing Lex Luthor still warming pegs at TRU when the line is dead gets me worried thinking about how iffy these things can be.

As someone that as of yesterday pre ordered $500.00 worth of BBP SMDM and BSG figures I am now wondering how those orders will be effected when it comes time to ship if a character change is made? Will I receive the new character selection in lieu of the sister character or how will that play out?
