From your lips to BBP!s ears. I'd buy one.

The Android Sister is such a unique choice for a figure. I'm stunned but happy.

My EE pre-order has been placed for all of the BSG and SMDM and through the MM so they get a couple bucks too. July is going to be great.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I might be visiting eBay for mine to save on shipping. Fifty bucks for shipping is pretty steep for me.

Weird seeing "prototypes" like this, but it looks promising

Fantastic! I had forgotten about the Android Sisters and what they looked like, but this is pretty cool!

I will wait a bit though.

Like the man said, fifty bucks for shipping is a bit much.

Hopefully they will also get spare outfits, boots, etc. for those of us doing customs.

I definitely want a Cylon. Maybe Apollo, too. Too...much...good...stuff...I need to save some money for more Venture Brothers, though, too.

No, that is really what they look like. Those are photos. They wanted a distinct... almost hand-drawn... quality to their figures. Personally, I applaud the bold choice.

I popped my zipcode in for two of the figures and it was 7.95. Don't know where the 50 bucks came from.

It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Whew! I was really worried there for a minute.

But like I said, I will wait a minute.

I just hope that the bodies aren't strung too tightly, which would necessitate a restringing.

I think putting the Android Sister in the first assortment might not be the best idea. I think you've got to start really strong and there are so many top tier characters (like Athena, Boomer, Lucifer, Baltar, Serina, Tigh, Sheba, Cassiopeia, Adama, Imperious Leader) that should come before potential peg warmers like something like the Android Sisters or Boray. If you want to have an alien in the first wave Ovions are pretty iconic for classic BSG and more toyetic, in my opinion.

If the line dies after wave one or two, that's a lot of popular characters you are gonna miss. No Adama is a big hole in your collection or display. Getting an Android Sister down the line is cool but not something you'd really miss if it didn't get made.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

with the sound chip activating with arm and leg movement, maybe there will be no stringing?

I was wondering when someone would say what I've been thinking. I also saw in another thread, someone was talking about Wave Seven or something. We got two Flash Gordon 1/9 figures. I just can't imagine it going anywhere close to that long, where we would get fourteen figures or more. When classic Galactica was actually still popular, Mattel only released ten figures, one of which was a repaint of a previous figure. I'm just glad we get Starbuck, Apollo, and a Cylon this soon into it (very, very strong choices that really underscore how BBP is striking hard straight away). I hope they hit hard and heavy next round with Adama, Boomer, Athena, and Lucifer. These figures are going to collectors that are very different from Star Wars 3 3/4" collectors--those dudes will buy "that one guy at the bar that Han walked by when he was talking to the bartender."

I'm not being a hater, at all--I think this will be a killer line--I just want it to be successful and not die out prematurely due to disinterest in the choices.

Maybe they should pair Cassieopeia with Starbuck instead of the Android Sister. After all, they were an item on the show; they belong together in toy form.
