Outside of Ebay? Not much. Toy shelves have been lined with aging product for some time now. But it's essentially the calm before the storm. This is the period when you need to be putting some bucks back, because 2012 is going to be a wall of merchandise. Six Million Dollar man, Battlestar Galactica, Captain Action, and of course the Hot Toys figures coming out next month like the Keaton Batman. Then I'm sure there will be plenty of surprise releases that will grab my attention...and wallet. I'm positioning myself for the big push. Actually I'm awaiting the Toyfair coming up. That will essentially tell me where I will be spending my money. -
outside of ebay? I finally went to a flea market which I hadn't done in a while...some guy had tons of old doll clothes, Barbie, Tammy, Ken, a bunch of knock offs, couple Gi joe items and stuff like that...he had them all in baggies and was asking $10-$20, I said cool and picked up a couple..he then tells me I could have it all for $100..I took it and when I got home...there were like 20 lbs. of dolls clothes, 1 huge bag of vintage Barbie stuff including a talking barbie and malibu Ken, a redline Hotwheels , 6 nancy ann story dolls and tons more...great find"Time to nut up or shut up"-Tallahassee

have not been out looking since November. Flea markets are shut down for the season in these parts since they are outdoor. tag sales too.
my last score outside ebay was over the summer at the Stormville Flea Market, picked up a gallong size baggie full of various Meg, GI Joe, Super Joe, Marx and Empire parts. it included a complete Darkon body and chest pak, T1 Supes, Robin and Batman, various T1 body parts, Flocked Joe head and some parts, marx and or gabriel western parts and accessories frmo the Empire helicopter and crime van sets. also got Alan Verdon wearing silk short Aquaman costume and a naked Mego Buck Rogers. all for $24.00 so I was happyComment

Thanks. It was a pretty good sale. Actually it was the 2nd of two sales. The lady owned a doll shop back in the 80s and 90s. Huge house was full of all kind of dolls--mostly old lady stuff but some action figures. Prices were really high on some stuff ($55 for mego zira) but there were definite deals to be had (mego catwoman for $2!).......Comment

Picked these up at an old lady doll sale estate. $45 for Bionic Woman MIB and $15 for a loose and mint Oscar. Not bad. They're going in my collection. Picked up a few smaller odds and ends at the same sale, too.

We lost a really big flea market in the area as it had closed down. At one time back in the prime it was one of the biggest and the best flea markets around. Not that I ever found anything Mego much. At least it gave hope.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
Too much space. Need more toys!
