What was your first MEGO owned?

Batman and Robin,Spiderman and Superman....followed by the Hulk,Captain Kirk,Aquaman and more that have been lost to memory......Getting them back now though...Wayne

Cant remember the real 1st but at the same time I remember the superknights/Robin Hood and Zorro all bought around the same time - time wise late seventies from one shop that my mam always called the Red Shop that sold more household/cleaning products than toys

My first Mego was Joe Namath--I was probably 4 or 5 years old. As far as 8" goes, probably Superman or Batman.

I was thinking it was a 8 inch Superman, but Mego made battery operated Robots and I owned one of them, technically the first.

I had both solid box, RC Batman and RM Robin when they first sold at Kmarts..

Spiderman and Captain America within a year after.

My first was Superman. I remember it like it was yesterday. My one brother got RC Batman, and my other brother got Captain America.

First Mego Ever

I started getting MEGO's for my birthdays around age 4 (1974). I can still see those bright crisp packages in my head.....just before I tore them apart and my parents gathered up the shreds and pitched them. OUCH ! They were characters like Batman, Robin, Spidey, and Hulk. Then, with the 1978 release of Superman The Movie everything shifted to Supes !

Batman, Robin and the Batmobile 8" My 6th Birthday (September 1977) I had been watching the West/Ward Series for about six months by that point.
Got the Pocket Heroes versions a few months later in my stocking
Until now the only other figures I had in that Line was Superman and The Hulk.

I've posted this picture before, but this is my earliest memory of Mego, sitting on the floor of my aunt's house with Superman and Shazam. You can see what I thought about Aquaman and Robin. I think a few days later on Christmas morning with my parents I got a Batmobile, Batcave and maybe the copter along with Super Freinds bed sheets and matching pajamas. I think maybe the day this picture was taken really deeply embedded me with a love for Supes and Shazam as they have remained my favorite characters to this day.
