What was your first MEGO owned?

Since Christmas time is right around the corner, I was wondering what your first MEGO toy was?

Mine was Superman! As you can see this is a sewn cape and attached to my Superman. We didn't have a lot of money growing up so my parents did alot of their shopping at Swap Meets. My parents bought this for me since I was and still am a HUGE superhero fan! My mom made a homemade cape and I have it still to this day!

Thanks to my grandparents, my brother and I got the very first wave of WGSH. Solid boxed, RC Batman and RC Robin, Superman and Aquaman. Wasn't too long afterwards that Spider-Man and Capt. America joined our collections.

The rest are long gone, but I still have that Spidey!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

I'm not sure which one was first, but I think it was Shazam, Batman, Robin, Captain America and Spider-Man (along with the Batmobile & the Spider-Man Crime Lab) for Christmas when I was VERY young.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Removeable mask Batman AND Robin - well, my brother got Robin, but he
got tired of it the next day so I took possession.

I stood in the store debating between Batman and Superman until my
mother demanded I make a choice. This is what made me a collector.
That night, I stared at the side gallery on the box wishing I chose Superman.

                    Captain Kirk.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

A Zira I bought for myself when I was in my 30s. Maybe I had other Mego toys--just never any action figures...I just highly doubt that...I can't remember much of my childhood.

I believe it was the wonderful 8" Spidey. I owned him repeatedly even when he didn't get broken. I seem to remember bringing him home more than once.
