Cool. Thanks for finding that. Since it showed up in a random lot with the sleeves already on, I figured maybe a kid's mom did it back in 1983, or something. Prototype seems more likely; probably an interesting story how it came to be on ebay in 2004.

This is all said with love and respect for you, Lonnie. I have a high regard for you. I just don't want to leave your comment hanging out there like a big matzo ball. . . . . I hope you'll understand.

And with all due respect back at ya Bryan, here's what I can say about the Lonnie/Rudy debacle.
"Here's the facts of the matter:
      1. Rudy listed a broken circle suit Spidey in perfect condition. It had a hole in the toe of the costume, that is a very significant flaw in a figure that sold for $2,340 shipped.
      Does this look perfect?

      2. Rudy listed a diamond circle suit Spidey and [another member here] made a lot of faux bids that were retracted days after left, violating all sorts of ebay rules. Listed as "bid wrong amount". I spent the money set aside for the figure after I was no longer the high bidder. I bought a car. I no longer had the funds to cover the figure and it crushed me financially. Ebay's rules were against me when they should have been there to help me out. I did everything legit, but others did not.
      3. Rudy listed a Lili Ledy Spidey in perfect condition which had flaws and repairs not mentioned.
And yeah, I'm still ****ed at Rudy and Alex. That will not change. I told Rudy I would stop telling people about what he did if he made good on the promise he made years ago. He said he would refund my money and set up a deal where I would send the figures to another member of the museum and when he got them Rudy would have refunded my money. DaveMC was to be the middle party, but Rudy stopped all contact. He lied and lied and then stopped all contact.
      4. I got a broken figure from him shipped from Italy to the U.S. in a padded envelope. That was a $20.00 shipping charge.

That's the real word on what happened!
      Beware dealing with Rudy Zerbi..."

Did I miss the sale? I don't recall seeing it on ebay or anywhere else.
