Not sure that's fact, my man. That was indeed a crazy Spiderman auction, but it's not confirmed that Rudy had anything to do with the high prices you paid.

I wasn't around when this figure first appeared. I assume it was vetted pretty well, but how did everyone get comfortable that the sleeves weren't added after the fact?

I don't remember the 2004 auction but the pic from then seems legit and Rudy has been one of the premiere Mego collector's. I would assume if he has looked at it and deemed it real, it is real. I usually only hear Rudy's name pop up with crazy rare figures.

Keene was one of the originals on the Yahoo list. He may have even gone back to the Levy List. Stand up guy and I have no doubt in my mind that it was found in an auction. There might even be some archived threads from the old yahoo list around.
